History
The Sheboygan Visual Artists was founded on July 23, 2007, by Frank Juarez, (publisher of Artdose magazine). Its first gathering took place on this day with four artists: Dale Knaak, Stuart Howland, Mary Kuehl, Frank Juarez, and art patron, Dr. Jack Westfall. They wanted to create a platform to support local and regional artists. That vision continues to thrive to this day, empowering and enlivening the Wisconsin art scene.
