MISSION

MISSION

Focusing on empowering local artists and engaging the public through art exhibitions, workshops, scholarships, and community outreach programs, we support artists at all stages of their careers.

SVA was founded in 2007 by artists Frank Juarez and Dale Knack. They shared the belief that art, a universal language, is essential to a vibrant, thriving community.” SVA is now a cooperative with 85+ visual artists serving the Sheboygan region.

At SVA Our Mission is to:

  • Empower visual artists through professional development and collaboration.

  • Create opportunities for the community to experience and enjoy the visual arts.

  • Promote member artists and their work.
