Rhonda Strassburg

Being native to Wisconsin and raised in the rural wooded areas of the state, I have always appreciated the beauty of nature at all stages of its life.  After 47 years of being in the workforce I retired and decided to try my hand at expressing this appreciation through painting.  Flora has held a particular place in my heat for me.  Mostly in our trees, which to me is the symbol of life.  From the seeds that they release to feed the animals, to the shelter they find in their boughs, to the leaves that purify our air.  They give life to our planet.

Although I have not had any formal training, I enjoy sharing my completed works with friends and family.  Through their encouragement I have decided to share my work with the public.  I have done commissioned work upon request and enjoy working with my clients to produce a piece of art that has a special meaning to them.
