I am a mostly self-taught artist, only taking workshops to learn new mediums throughout the last 15 years. I taught classes while working at, the now closed, JSM Bead Coop as well as teaching Children’s art classes and make ‘n takes while working for Michael's as a teenager. I work with most mediums in the arts, ebbing and flowing through while hyper focusing on each one. Currently, my focus is on Lino cutting and printmaking as well as painting with watercolor pigments I make myself. Using found material to turn into pigments, then hand mulling into watercolor is my passion with this medium. I reside on Lake Michigan with my 2 kids and husband where you might find spots on the beach where they have made paint with rocks and water. I believes anyone can be an artist and facilitating this spark for others is my main motivation"
