Keary Kautzer is a native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.  He has been painting since elementary school.   Keary studied watercolor painting with James Michael, especially en plein air.  Watercolor painting en plein air has become a passion.

In January 2018 Keary took a challenge to complete a painting every day.  He enjoyed the challenge so much that he challenged himself to continue to complete at least one painting every day in 2018….completing over 400 paintings.  His paintings are posted every day on his Facebook page.

Keary is a member of  the Wisconsin Watercolor Society, Sheboygan Visual Arts, and the Wisconsin Plein Air Painters Association.
