Congratulations to SVA Members Featured in Alive in the Arts!

Several Sheboygan Visual Artists members have had artwork accepted into Alive in the Arts, the 31st Annual Juried Exhibition at the Plymouth Arts Center. The exhibit showcases outstanding Wisconsin artists and will be on display through August 7, 2026.

Featured SVA members include Sandy Achterberg, Joyce Babel-Worth, Tracy Bezesky, Lynn Chevrier, Sue Ellibee, Evie Grasse, Keary Kautzer, and Dale Knaak.

We congratulate these artists on this achievement and encourage everyone to visit the exhibition and support local art.

Carla Lewis

SVA members Marla Payne and Carla Lewis helped add a creative touch to June-A-Palooza: A Night at the Roundtable by painting decorations for the event. The fundraiser benefits Fresh Meals On Wheels and will be held outdoors on Saturday, June 27, at The Christopher Farm and Gardens.

Mari Anna Chism

Sheboygan Visual Artists is pleased to celebrate SVA member Mari Anna Chism and her exhibition at Thelma Galleries in Fond du Lac.

Mari Anna's work will be featured in this special exhibition at Thelma Galleries, with an opening reception that offers visitors an opportunity to meet the artist and experience her latest work firsthand.

We invite our members and the community to support Mari Anna and join us in congratulating her on this exciting achievement.

Judy Schmidt

SVA member Judy Schmidt was honored at the United Way Spirit Awards Luncheon at the Osthoff Resort on April 30th.

This event celebrates volunteerism throughout Sheboygan County. The lifetime achievement award was presented to Judy as the grand finale of the program.
